What to bring

Comfy clothes, comfy shoes, a towel and plenty of water!

Footwear

Zumba is not a dance class, so no high heels please. (Does that make sense? I hope it does.) Zumba’s own FAQ page says:
Zumba Fitness recommends that you wear “cross training” or “aerobic” style shoes. They provide the cushion and medial lateral support needed for side-to-side movements. They also have low traction rubber for easy sliding and turning. Please be careful with “running shoes” since they use a heavy tread on the bottom and are designed for forward movement.
I myself prefer wearing sneakers.
Whatever footwear you choose, it should not be a brand new pair of shoes: the last thing you want after (or during) the class are blisters!

Tops and bottoms

You don’t have to buy any special fitness apparel. Anything that is lightweight, not restrictive and comfortable is fine. If your clothes are also colourful, it is even better. I promise you are going to sweat a lot, so it could be a good idea to bring an extra change of clothes.
