Places to eat

Corralejo

  • Amarena
    C.C. El Campanario
    Free WiFi. Cash only.
Coffees, ice creams, crêpes, variety of teas in tetsubin teapots and much more.
My favourites: Brownie con helado; Cappuccino shakerato.

  • Antiguo Café del Puerto
    Calle La Ballena, 10
Fabulous selection of tapas, including lots of vegetarian dishes.
  • Avenida
    Calle General Prim, 11
    Cash only.
Huge portions of food (that I was mistakenly expecting to be tapa-sized) at the very reasonable prices.
  • Boardriders
    C.C. El Campanario
    Free WiFi.
    “International cuisine” at its best.
    My favourite: Argentine steak.

  • La Bodeguita Fuerteventura
    Calle Lepanto, 3
Busy tapas restaurant in central Corralejo.
    My favourites: chipirones plancha.
  • El Sombrero
    Avenida Maritima, 25
    For you, meat lovers!

  • Il Cantinone
Corner of Calle Antonio Hernandez Paez & Calle La Milagrosa
Huge portions of pasta and pizzas at very reasonable prices.

  • La Ola
    Paseo Marítimo Bristol
    Cash only.
Café and German bakery. Tasty cakes and bread.
  • Pincha Cabra
Calle Milagrosa, 17, Plaza de Patrico Calero
    Free WiFi.
Great value, cozy tapas place. Barbecue on Saturdays.
My favourites: carpaccio di polpo; cabrito; pimientos de Padrón (of course).

El Cotillo

  • La Vaca Azul
    Old Harbour
Great location. Tasty but pricey fresh fish dishes. Avoid if on a budget.

Puerto del Rosario

  • Mundotaberna
Calle Profesor Juan Tadeo Cabrera, 29
Excellent bocadillos for every taste, just a minute away from C.C. Las Rotondas (and better value than any café in there).
  • Son Son
    Calle León y Castillo, 23
A busy coffee shop serving sandwiches and croissants. If you are in a hurry, the take away is available too!

Morro Jable

  • Piccola Italia
Calle Nuestra Señora del Carmen, 39
Good size, good value, good food Italian restaurant in the centre of the town.

Isla de Lobos

  • El Restaurante de la Isla de Lobos
    El Puertito
The best (as it is the only one) restaurant on the island. Two choices only: seafood paella and fried fish, but the portions are huge. Reservations are essential.

Lanzarote

  • Bodega El Rubicón
    La Geria
    Tapas and local wine!
